Meredith Forder

Meredith is a Vedanta practitioner, writer and self-development specialist, who has spent over 3 decades studying and researching the ancient wisdom of Vedanta and how it benefits modern-day health and happiness.

Born in Sydney, Meredith grew up with a penchant for art and design. At 18 she pursued a young girl’s dream and became a successful fashion designer, winning several prestigious awards. However, it wasn’t long before she realised the hollowness of her pursuit. Disillusioned at 24 by life’s paradox of having more, but gaining less, she discarded the dresses and embarked on a mission to design her own life.

After attending countless courses and reading reams of literature, Meredith found what she was looking for on the other side of the country, in Perth. There she attended a Vedanta retreat, read a life-changing book and met the author, a wise and witty Indian Swami A. Parthasarathy. They say that when the student is ready the teacher appears. Six weeks later Meredith was in India, studying Vedanta at the Vedanta Academy. She lived and studied there for six years.

Today Meredith spends her time writing and living a simple life, teaching this ancient Eastern philosophy to our modern Western society—helping to create PEACE, harmony and happiness.

Anni Harris, Yoga Teacher

I loved Meredith’s course on the Bhagavad Gita and highly recommend it. I found it inspired me to move past several things I had been struggling with by giving me a fresh roadmap of thinking. It also helped me foster a new inner strength, sense of personal resolve, and gave me a deep sense of comfort about my life and relationships.

The things Vedanta teaches us about how to live life has helped me more than any psychologist or therapist I have ever been to.

Jennifer Wright, Psychologist

Vedanta has helped me to relax and appreciate the value of staying with my intellect through all of life‘s activities.
